I am pleased to annouce that I will be teaching once again through Vancouver's Movable Music School.  This school has a stunningly original approach to adult music lessons: create a community of amateur musicians that just love to play and practice together, as you can see from the above video of a school performance (no I'm not in it).

You could profile me based on my favorite coffee haunts. The Wicked Cafe @ Hemlock and 7th is right up there:  a funky little place not that far from home, and on the way to Granville Island. In fact, a funk mix is playing as I write.

The combination of shared tables for workspace and big comfy chairs give the cafe a unique vibe. Some decent art on the walls adds to the decor.

My favorite new coffee hangout, has got to be the Elysian on Broadway at Ash.  A great atmosphere and individually brewed coffee is definitely a treat from the same-old same-old.  The service is pretty good also.  Sometimes, they will even bring your coffee and snack to your table.
